Évangéline continues its journey in 2027
After captivating more than 60,000 spectators since its premiere, Évangéline will return in 2027 with new performances in Ottawa, Québec City, Trois-Rivières and Montréal.
Following an enthusiastic audience response, the grand musical epic produced by Gestev will continue its run with its very first Ontario engagement. From August 5 to 7, 2027, Évangéline will take the stage at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, marking a new milestone in the growing success of this original production inspired by Acadian history and heritage.
The show will then return to the Grand Théâtre de Québec from September 8 to 12 and the Amphithéâtre Cogeco in Trois-Rivières from September 16 to 18. In Montréal, the production will begin a new chapter with its first-ever engagement at the Théâtre St-Denis at Espace St-Denis, from October 29 to 31.
Since its debut in February 2026, Évangéline has established itself as a major cultural event on Québec’s musical theatre scene, earning praise for its emotional power, artistic ambition and epic scale. Through the story of two legendary lovers, the production celebrates Acadian dignity, identity and resilience.
This sweeping production brings together a distinguished creative team and an acclaimed cast that includes Maude Cyr-Deschênes, Olivier Dion, Matthieu Lévesque, Nathalie Simard, Raphaël Butler and Océane Kitura Bohémier-Tootoo.
